“The best screenwriting advice I ever got was, ‘Write what you see.’ What someone should have added, was, ‘in the order you see it.'” ~ Max Adams

COURSE DURATION: This is a 6 week accelerated online master screenwriting class.

COURSE EMPHASIS: Course emphasis is on writing scenes using writing craft and techniques that will make your reader, be that reader a studio suit, star, director, casting director, or the janitor, “see” your movie in his or her mind’s eye. And really want to see it on the screen. You are writing a movie, right? Right. Let’s do this.

COURSE EXPECTATIONS: In this course you’ll discover dynamic writing tools and techniques that you can apply to fiction, nonfiction, screenplays, teleplays, and stage plays. Through lectures, clips, script analysis and examples, you will work with and learn how to create compelling visuals on the page using elements like light, space, line of sight, motion, and strong descriptive action that will catapult your writing into an unforgettable — and visual — experience for your readers and audience. On the page. And on the film screen. And in the process you will receive feedback, guidance and support from Max to guarantee you are not just reading about these techniques, you are learning how to use them and apply them to everything you write in the future.
