“Needy Kills in Hollywood. It’s like dating. Desperation never has been and never will be attractive.” ~ Max Adams
COURSE DURATION: This is a 6 week accelerated online master class in screenwriting.
COURSE EMPHASIS: In this course we cover the pitch in the room, on the phone, in the letter, on the elevator, at the grocery store, at the festival – okay ALL THE PITCHES – and the DO’S and DON’TS to get your screenplay read, sold, and produced when pitching in every situation.
COURSE EXPECTATIONS: In this course you’ll learn pitching tools and techniques that you can apply to fiction, nonfiction, screenplays, teleplays, and stage plays. Through lectures, clips, online classroom story and analysis examples, articles and in-class exercises, you will learn how to get in — and stay in — the door delivering pitches ranging from the blind query to the three minute “elevator pitch” to the full one hour studio pitch.
